The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shuai jiao checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Shuai jiao misses with a few strikes there.

Reynolds closes the distance and clinches.
Reynolds landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Shuai jiao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shuai jiao avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reynolds shoots in for a double leg but Shuai jiao sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Reynolds avoids the head kick by Shuai jiao.
Reynolds misses with a two punch combination.
Reynolds throws a body punch but Shuai jiao moves out of range.
Reynolds ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shuai jiao moves away.
Shuai jiao throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shuai jiao avoids the body shot from Reynolds.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Reynolds checks a leg kick.
Shuai jiao connects with the punch.
Reynolds swings widly with a right hand
and Shuai jiao counters with a big head kick but Reynolds shrugs it off.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick from Shuai jiao lands but Reynolds takes it in his stride.
Niko Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shuai jiao scores with a jab. Reynolds acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Reynolds lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Reynolds is still on wobbly legs! Can Shuai jiao finish him?
Shuai jiao lands a big head kick that sends Reynolds to the canvas! Shuai jiao follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
