The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles misses with a two punch combination.
Sato throws out a loose jab but Miles uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miles thows a body shot but no joy.
Sato swinging wildly here.
Miles connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sato doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sato throws a series of punches but Miles avoids them all with ease.
Miles throws a nice looking combination but Sato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sato getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Miles throws a leg kick but Sato sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Miles takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Miles counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Miles lands a nice short elbow.

Miles is keen to just control but Sato is a slippery customer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miles is looking to advance position but Sato won't allow it.

Sato is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miles is aware though and is defending well.

Sato has momentary wrist control but Miles slips an elbow through the middle.
Miles wants to control from the top but Sato keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miles won't allow Sato to sweep him here.
Miles scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Sato working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Miles postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sato takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Sato is rocked!
Miles lands a decent elbow from side control.
Oh Sato is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miles in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Sato looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Miles turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
