Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bing Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payne has chosen RATM - Killing In The Name Of as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bing Boom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Payne!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Payne gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Payne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Payne blocks a low kick nicely.
The fighters circling - Payne throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boom misses with a head kick.
Boom throws a chopping leg kick but Payne manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Boom lands an overhand right.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Good work by Payne as he checks the leg kick.
Payne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boom pinned against the cage. Boom gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Payne shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Payne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boom as he avoids it easily.
Bing Boom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Payne.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Boom, right into the meat.
Boom lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Payne stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boom.
Payne shoots and misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Boom uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Payne.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boom throws a leg kick but Payne sees it coming and moves out of range.
Payne with a lazy takedown attempt
and Boom counters with a thumping low kick.
Payne tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Payne on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Payne shoots in but Boom avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Payne takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Payne slips a straight right by Boom.
Payne closes the distance and clinches up with Boom, looking for a takedown. Payne pushes Boom against the cage but Boom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boom cracks the inside of Payne's front leg.
Boom is looking to slow Payne down with leg kicks.
Boom lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Payne doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boom counters with a body kick that stops Payne in his tracks momentarily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Boom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boom misses with a low kick.
Jab, jab by Boom - just one landing.
Payne is trying desperately to land a takedown but Boom is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Payne.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice defenses there by Boom.
Bing Boom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Payne drives through with a takedown into Boom's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Boom is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boom looking for a sweep. Not yet Boom, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Boom's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Payne fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boom avoids it really well and circles away.
Payne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boom paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Payne has his takedown stuffed
and Boom counters with a slapping leg kick.
Donk. Boom catches Payne right on the button with a cross.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Boom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A decent looking cross lands there for Boom.
Payne misses with a takedown
and Boom counters with a nice low kick that buckles Payne's knee momentarily.
Bing Boom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Payne.
Payne shoots in looking for a takedown but Boom manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Payne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Boom lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Payne tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No luck for Payne with that takedown attempt.
Boom will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Payne has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Boom.
Boom motions for Payne to come forward. Boom throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Boom jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Payne's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Payne fails with the takedown
and Boom counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Boom throws a head kick that half lands.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Payne shoots for a takedown but Boom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Payne takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bing Boom is winning the standup battle so far.
Boom scoring well with a low kick there.
Boom throws a leg kick which misses Payne's front leg but catches the back leg as Payne tries to avoid it.
Payne shoots in looking for a takedown but Boom manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Payne's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Payne tries for a takedown but Boom circles away easily
and Boom connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Max Payne has been cut.
Payne blocks the body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boom feints and then cracks Payne's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Payne down.
Boom thumps Payne with a low kick.
Payne uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boom.
Payne tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boom sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Payne somewhat.
Payne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boom but Boom pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bing Boom dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Max Payne's cut.
That's time! Boom's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Payne moves out of range as Boom throws a body kick.

Boom feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Payne's calf.
Payne on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Boom looks to land a combination but Payne avoids it well.
Boom throws a chopping leg kick but Payne manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Payne takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The fighters circling - Boom throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bing Boom is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boom throws a leg kick that is checked

and Payne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boom's guard.
Payne controlling from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Payne trying to control but Boom is working from the bottom.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Payne sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Boom has his hands on Payne's head, controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Bing Boom just wasn't active enough.
Payne with a poor takedown
and Boom counters with a nice body kick.
Bing Boom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Payne.
Good leg kick by Boom there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Payne throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Boom counters with a nice leg kick.
Payne misses with a takedown attempt
and Boom counters with a stiff right hand.
Boom throws out a powerful jab.
Boom fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Payne looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Payne slips a jab from Boom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bing Boom showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boom, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
