The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller throws the left hand but Long avoids the punch easily.
Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Long is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, Long circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Miller.
Long moves to clinch but Miller breaks away

and Miller counters with a shoot takedown. Long fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Miller wants to control from the top but Long keeps moving.
Miller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Long manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.

Miller has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Long off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Miller is just content to waste time from the top position. Long takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Miller wants to control from the top but Long keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Miller makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Long trying to control but Miller postures up.

Long manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Miller fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Long to the ground. Miller is now in Long's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Long keeping full guard, as Miller tries to pass.

Miller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Long tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

How Long showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Long rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Long passes into half guard.
Long prevents Miller from improving his position.
Long wants to stand up but Miller is controlling the position.
Miller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Miller.
Long preventing the sweep.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Long wants to stand but Miller has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
