The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe throws a nice head kick!
Crowe throws a sloppy head kick and Romanos moves out of range easily.
Romanos tries to clinch up.
Romanos tries to land a front kick but Crowe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Romanos walks forward, straight into a front kick from Crowe.

Romanos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Crowe.

Romanos shoots in for a takedown but Crowe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Slim Crowe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Crowe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Romanos. That did some damage!
Romanos on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A head kick from Crowe lands but Romanos takes it in his stride.

Romanos shoots for a double leg takedown but Crowe sprawls well. He's pushed Romanos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Romanos has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Crowe.
Crowe throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Romanos throws out a loose jab but Crowe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Romanos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Crowe.
Crowe throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Crowe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Romanos will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Romanos crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Crowe - the referee stops the clock and Romanos gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Crowe. Romanos manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Romanos steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Crowe. That one must have hurt.
Romanos takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crowe throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Crowe throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The fighters circle, before Crowe throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Romanos's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Crowe lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
