Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uri Kalechnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalechnikov has chosen 60 Revolutions - Gogol Bordello as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalechnikov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Patterson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Patterson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kalechnikov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Patterson.

Patterson shoots in looking for a takedown but Kalechnikov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Patterson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kalechnikov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Patterson pinned against the cage. Patterson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kalechnikov is staying tight to Patterson's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Kalechnikov tries to score with some ground and pound. Patterson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Kalechnikov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kalechnikov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kalechnikov tries to move into full mount but can't pass Patterson's legs.
Kalechnikov lands a nice forearm strike.
Kalechnikov lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Patterson down.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patterson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kalechnikov asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kalechnikov looks up at the clock and then as Patterson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kalechnikov smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Kalechnikov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Kalechnikov! Patterson is hurt baaadly! Kalechnikov is firing away with more strikes - Patterson is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
