Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James DeFuria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dingo Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeFuria kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Styles P - Put That On Everything. Penn has chosen deftones-simple man as his entrance music. The key to victory for James DeFuria has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeFuria lands a glancing blow to the side of Penn's head.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dingo Penn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Penn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Penn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeFuria's waist but DeFuria gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Penn off to one side.
