Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jens Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jens Petersen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jens Petersen!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Connor moves into the clinch successfully.
Connor looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Petersen tries to throw a body punch but Connor avoids it by throwing Petersen back against the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jens Petersen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Petersen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Connor under the eye.

Jens Petersen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well Petersen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
