PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gay Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anastazy Kojras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bomb comes into the arena with It's Raining Men blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gay Bomb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anastazy Kojras!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bomb throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kojras tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bomb is in Kojras's guard.
Kojras wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bomb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kojras not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bomb trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Anastazy Kojras hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kojras tries to clinch but Bomb moves away

and Bomb counters with a takedown into side control.
Kojras managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bomb.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bomb is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kojras is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bomb landing a few strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bomb throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Bomb wants to control but Kojras is keeping him busy.
Bomb throws a strike aimed at the side of Kojras's head but Kojras avoids it well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kojras takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Bomb creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kojras sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bomb is staying tight to Kojras's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Kojras taking punishment in the form of punches.
Bomb trying to control the position but Kojras is working away.
Kojras tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kojras can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bomb has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kojras is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bomb yanks on the arm and Kojras is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bomb.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gay Bomb!
Our winner, Gay Bomb, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
