Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Kazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelino Chambers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yoshihiro Kazuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcelino Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Chambers lands a leg kick that knocks Kazuki off balance momentarily.
Chambers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kazuki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chambers sprawls well initially but Kazuki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Chambers is trying to maintain the position but Kazuki is very close to passing his half guard.

Chambers looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Chambers is defending against the submission attempts here by Kazuki.
Chambers pushes Kazuki off looking to stand but Kazuki dives back in and keeps control.
Chambers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chambers.

Kazuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chambers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kazuki throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chambers working for a triangle but Kazuki defends it easily.

Kazuki scoring with some ground and pound.
Chambers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kazuki tries to free his leg and advance position but Chambers is retaining full guard.

Chambers controls Kazuki momentarily but Kazuki frees himself.
Chambers is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Kazuki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chambers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kazuki has Chambers in his guard.

Chambers wants to stand but Kazuki has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kazuki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chambers defends well.
Kazuki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kazuki has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Chambers has passed into side control.
Kazuki is trying to work for a sweep but Chambers has mounted him!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kazuki bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kazuki rushes Chambers and presses him up against the cage.
Kazuki tries to throw a body punch but Chambers avoids it by throwing Kazuki back against the cage.
Kazuki tries to land a knee to the head but Chambers blocks with his arms.
Kazuki blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kazuki misses with the head strike.
Chambers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kazuki backwards.
Kazuki lands a right hand.

Kazuki breaks from the clinch.
Yoshihiro Kazuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kazuki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chambers moves away.

Kazuki closes the distance and pushes Chambers back into the cage.

Kazuki has picked Chambers up - he's going for a ride! Kazuki dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Chambers is looking to improve his position.
Chambers is pressing down on Kazuki's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Chambers trying to keep a closed guard but Kazuki is proving a slippery customer.

Kazuki tries to free his leg and advance position but Chambers is retaining full guard.
Kazuki cracks Chambers with a solid left hand.
Chambers is breathing heavily.
Kazuki throwing strikes but missing.

Chambers had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kazuki defends it easily.
Kazuki wants to pass the guard but Chambers is keeping the position.
Chambers wants to sweep but no luck.

Kazuki with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kazuki lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Chambers being controlled here, momentarily.
Kazuki is in close to Chambers's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kazuki pushes down on Chambers's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kazuki looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chambers with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kazuki lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Chambers is not content to let Kazuki control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kazuki is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Chambers on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.


It looks like Marcelino Chambers has been cut.
Chambers tries to roll over but Kazuki keeps him under control.
Kazuki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chambers's head.
Chambers won't allow Kazuki to pass to mount.
Yoshihiro Kazuki overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kazuki drops an elbow to the side of Chambers's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kazuki is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chambers wants to improve his position but Kazuki is controlling well.

Kazuki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kazuki is pressing down on Chambers's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chambers is holding on for now.
Chambers should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kazuki is working for a kimura but Chambers is defending it quite comfortably.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The cut man is working on Marcelino Chambers's cut.
That's time! Kazuki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Kazuki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kazuki lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Chambers.

Kazuki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kazuki closes the distance and clinches.
Chambers stalling in the clinch but Kazuki improves position.
Kazuki is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Kazuki lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Chambers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Kazuki pushes Chambers back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Kazuki.

Kazuki has hold of one of Chambers's legs. Chambers is fighting the takedown attempt but Kazuki gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Chambers wants to get back to his feet but Kazuki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kazuki passes Chambers's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Chambers is in trouble now - Kazuki has advanced to mount!

That has opened up Marcelino Chambers's cut even more.

The cut above Marcelino Chambers's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kazuki cracks Chambers with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.


Chambers is rocked!


Marcelino Chambers's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marcelino Chambers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Yoshihiro Kazuki!
