The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arona looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Arona rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vans moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Arona scores with a jab to the body.
Arona throws a jab when Vans was well out of range.
Arona misses with a few strikes there.
Vans is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Arona misses the shot to the body.
Arona throws a right and a left that Vans avoids nicely.
Vans tries to close the distance and clinch up but Arona swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Arona misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Arona throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Arona misses with a double jab
and Vans counters with a one-two to the body.
Vans tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vans tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Arona manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Arona keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Arona tries to bum rush Vans with a series of wild strikes but Vans uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Arona drops Vans with a beautiful combination! Vans stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Arona is looking for the KO!
