Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and NYRKKI MANNE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MANNE has chosen Atreyu - Honor as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MANNE fails with an attempt to clinch.
MANNE misses with a wild combination.

MANNE shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

MANNE is looking to take a break and control but Mack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
MANNE wants to control for a moment but Mack uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Mack wants to stand up but MANNE is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

MANNE is trying to stand up here but Mack is controlling him well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mack closes the distance looking to clinch

and MANNE counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

MANNE stands up from guard. Let's bang!
MANNE looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mack rushes MANNE and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
MANNE tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mack just stands there and leans against the cage.
Mack keeps control of MANNE as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mack manages to break the clinch.
MANNE throws a nice outside leg kick.

Mack moves into the clinch successfully.

MANNE throws a hook but Mack blocks it.
Mack tries a head kick but it misses.
MANNE shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mack pinned against the cage. Mack gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Mack counters with a slapping leg kick.
MANNE keeps the fight on the outside.
Mack lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like NYRKKI MANNE has been cut.
Mack scores with a kick to the body.
Mack fails with an attempt to clinch.
MANNE shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mack counters with a nice body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
MANNE misses with a two punch combination.
MANNE is looking to clinch but Mack is avoiding it.

MANNE tries to bum rush Mack with a series of wild strikes but Mack uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
MANNE throws a right and a left that Mack avoids nicely.

Mack gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mack keeping moving, preventing MANNE from controlling successfully.
MANNE is breathing heavily.

Mack pushes MANNE off and gets back to his feet.
Mack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mikey Mack is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

MANNE tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mack swivels and escapes.
Mikey Mack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of NYRKKI MANNE.

Mack tries to keep at a distance but MANNE has taken the fight into the clinch.

Mack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
MANNE fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
MANNE throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mack's waist but Mack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MANNE off to one side.

Mack darts in and clinches MANNE up against the cage.
Mack lands a nice elbow.

Mack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mikey Mack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mack stalks MANNE and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into MANNE's face. MANNE staggers backwards, shaken.
MANNE sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick by MANNE misses
and Mack counters with a nice kick to the body.

MANNE misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

MANNE scores a takedown into full mount!
MANNE looking to control and managing it successfully.

MANNE wants to finish this one by submission but Mack is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from MANNE.
Mack in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

MANNE seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Mack is holding on tight.
MANNE can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mack is looking to escape.

Mack wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but MANNE has him pressed against the cage.
Mack misses with a knee to the head.

MANNE has picked Mack up - he's going for a ride! MANNE dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

MANNE is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
MANNE is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
