The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Kasvo.
Kasvo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Kivi Kasvo has been cut.
Kasvo misses with the combination.
Kasvo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vanaja is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kasvo's half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kasvo is looking for a sweep. Vanaja is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Vanaja is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kasvo!

Vanaja wants to control the pace but Kasvo is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vanaja lands a heavy elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vanaja goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kasvo is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kasvo throws an elbow that misses. Vanaja uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kasvo's guard. Nice move by Vanaja!

Vanaja slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Vanaja wants to control but Kasvo is keeping him busy.
Vanaja works to advance to full mount. Kasvo defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Vanaja throws some wild stikes that Kasvo manages to avoid easily.
Vanaja lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Vanaja is landing with some decent strikes but Kasvo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Vanaja looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Vanaja prevents Kasvo from getting the reversal.
Vanaja breaks from Kasvo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Vanaja looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Kasvo covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

In his post fight interview, Jukka Emil Vanaja started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
