The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Case. Case obviously looking to wear him down.
Case wants to clinch up but Rossi keeps it at a distance.
Case is looking to clinch.
Case lands with a cross.
Rossi circles away from the clinch attempt

and Rossi counters by moving into the clinch.

Rossi has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Case avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Rossi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Case is fending him off so far but Rossi persists. Nope, Case circles away and we're back to standing.

and Rossi counters with a one-two to the body.

Case displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rossi.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Rossi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Case keeps working.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Case is on top in guard.
Case is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Rossi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Case wants to clinch.
Case slaps away a takedown attempt from Rossi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Case turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Case fails with an attempt to clinch.
Case connects with a body shot.
Case tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Rossi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Case won't be happy with that.

Case takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Rossi wants to stand but Case has his arm trapped.

Rossi throwing strikes but Case manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Case thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Rossi tries to buck Case off but Case is having none of it.
Case controls the position.
Case has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rossi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Case off and has taken his back!

Rossi is trying to stick to Case's back but Case is turning into Rossi. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Rossi's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Case.
Case controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rossi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Case. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Case tries to close the distance and clinch but Rossi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rossi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Case avoids it really well and circles away.

and Rossi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Case is looking for a triangle but Rossi pushes his legs off easily.
Rossi tries to free his leg and advance position but Case is retaining full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rossi throws an elbow that misses. Case uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rossi's guard. Nice move by Case!
