Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mix tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Boyd manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mix looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Boyd shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Boyd goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Boyd changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mix looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Boyd feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
