The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roussow plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Jedi Mindtricks's cut is getting worse.

Mindtricks throws a jab but it's blocked by Roussow.

Roussow drops Mindtricks with a beautiful combination! Mindtricks stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Roussow is looking for the KO!
Mike Roussow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roussow fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Roussow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Jedi Mindtricks's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Roussow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Roussow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mindtricks slips under a jab.
Mindtricks swings for the body but Roussow moves out of range.
Roussow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mindtricks is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Roussow.
Roussow misses the shot to the body.
Mindtricks misses with a looping left.
Roussow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mindtricks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Roussow somewhat.
Mindtricks slips a jab and a cross from Roussow.
Roussow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mindtricks walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Jeez, Jedi Mindtricks's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

A shot to the liver by Roussow. Beautiful body shot.
Roussow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mindtricks tries to avoid it but Roussow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mindtricks to the ground. Mindtricks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Roussow throws a right hand that Mindtricks ducks under and follows up with a left that Mindtricks also avoids with ease.
Roussow scores with a nice head shot.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jedi Mindtricks's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
