Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chain Chalmers!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez lands with a nice body kick.
Chalmers tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Chalmers thows a leg kick but Lopez checks it
and Lopez counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Lopez throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Chalmers looks for a takedown but Lopez sprawls well.
Chalmers looks gassed!
Lopez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chalmers.

Lopez closes the distance and clinches.
Chalmers goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lopez prevents it.

Lopez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chain Chalmers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lopez cracks Chalmers with a right hand to the side of the head.

Lopez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lopez explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Lopez throws a head kick that Chalmers semi-blocks.
A head kick from Lopez lands but Chalmers takes it in his stride.
Lopez plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Chalmers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lopez's waist but Lopez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chalmers off to one side.
Jacare Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chain Chalmers.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lopez throws a head kick that half lands.


Chalmers is rocked!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chalmers crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lopez - the referee stops the clock and Chalmers gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lopez. Chalmers manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chalmers is still on wobbly legs! Can Lopez finish him?

Chalmers has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lopez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Chalmers should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Chalmers has eaten all the pies!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lopez breaks from the clinch.
Jacare Lopez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lopez tries to clinch but Chalmers is having none of it.
Lopez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chalmers manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lopez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chalmers has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Chalmers shoots in and drives through. Lopez sprawls well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lopez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The cut man is working on Chain Chalmers's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Lopez feints a jab promting Chalmers to slip. Lopez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chalmers slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Chalmers steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lopez. That one must have hurt.
Lopez sizes up Chalmers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Lopez counters with a nice leg kick.
Lopez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Chalmers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lopez has Chalmers pushed against the cage.

Lopez lands a left hand.
A knee to the head by Lopez.
Lopez lands an elbow inside.
Chalmers can't get the takedown.
Lopez has Chalmers pushed against the cage.
Chain Chalmers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lopez breaks the clinch.
Chalmers walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lopez.
Jacare Lopez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lopez. That's going to slow Chalmers down.
