Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Casparone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Alexis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Casparone comes to the cage accompanied by Smack my bitch up. The crowd seem to be enjoying Alexis's choice of entrance music: For those about to Rock by AC/DC. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casparone misses with a few strikes there.
Casparone jabs at Alexis's body.
Alexis throws a right and a left that Casparone avoids nicely.
Casparone walks forward, straight into a front kick from Alexis.
Casparone fails to land with a series of punches.

Casparone is trying to break the clinch but Alexis has him pressed against the cage.
Alexis tightens his grip and picks Casparone up, before dumping him to the ground. Casparone manages to land in guard.

Casparone has his foot on Alexis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alexis works his way back into a safe position though.

Casparone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alexis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alexis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
