Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sharp Pen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Laufey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laufey lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Pen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Laufey.
A chopping leg kick lands by Laufey.
Laufey lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Laufey looks for the body kick but Pen saw that one coming.
Laufey lands a front kick.
Laufey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Laufey lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A solid leg kick lands there for Laufey.
Pen avoids the head kick by Laufey.
Laufey keeps Pen at a distance using the push kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pen gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pen in particular looking to stall.
Pen works his foot free and advances to mount.
Pen throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Laufey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pen looking to finish Laufey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Laufey!
Sharp Pen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Laufey tries to lock up and control but Pen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Pen content just to control the position here.

Pen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Laufey turns into him and now he's in Pen's guard.

Pen scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Laufey gets caught napping as Pen dives in and scores a takedown. Laufey manages to retain guard.
Pen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Laufey is keeping the position for now.

Pen sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sharp Pen just wasn't active enough.

Pen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That has opened up Lucas Laufey's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Laufey manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.

Sharp Pen dominated that second round.

That's time! Pen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Laufey lands a leg kick that knocks Pen off balance momentarily.

Pen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Sharp Pen just wasn't active enough.
Laufey scores with a kick to the midsection.
Pen fails with the takedown.
Laufey throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Pen drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pen throws an elbow that misses. Laufey uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pen's guard. Nice move by Laufey!
Pen is looking to stand back up but Laufey counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Pen.

Laufey is thwarting Pen's attempts to control the position.
Laufey working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Pen's thigh. Pen counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Pen throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Pen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pen tries to get out of the position.

Laufey trying to control but Pen is working from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lucas Laufey hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A head kick misses from Laufey.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Laufey did well to prevent Pen getting side control.

Pen stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Laufey to get to his feet.
Laufey feints and then cracks Pen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pen down.
Laufey throws a low kick but Pen moves out of range easily.
Laufey throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Laufey.
Laufey misses with a low kick.
Laufey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sharp Pen showed his dominance in that final round.
