Danae comes to the cage accompanied by Labyrinth - Thunder. Theban has chosen Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story as his entrance music. Theban scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Perseus Danae has been cut.
Danae darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Theban blocks a head kick by Danae.
Theban tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Theban looks to land a right hand but Danae moved out of range.
Theban keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Danae connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Alcaeus Theban has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Theban throws a lazy right hand but Danae sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Danae pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Theban takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Danae throws a hook but Theban avoids it easily.
Danae uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Danae lands with a hook. Theban tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Theban is rocked!
Danae lands a nice hook to Theban's body. Theban takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Theban is still on wobbly legs! Can Danae finish him?
Danae lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Theban head around and knocks him out cold! Danae hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Perseus Danae!
