Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yolin Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Shoot to Thrill. Mason Smith has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yolin Choi's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith swings around for an armbar but Choi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Smith's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Choi is working Smith over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Choi is fighting to break Smith's control of his arms but Smith is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Choi distracts Smith with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Choi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Choi throws a strike but Smith avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Choi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
