Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlito Castilho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Figgs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castilho comes to the cage accompanied by Outta Control. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figgs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Figgs looks to land a combination. Castilho sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Carlito Castilho has been cut.
Castilho circles away from the clinch attempt.
Figgs throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Figgs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Castilho wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Figgs has him pressed against the cage.
Castilho has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Castilho blocks the body kick.
Figgs tries to clinch up but Castilho circles away and keeps his distance.

Figgs stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The fight stays on the outside here - Figgs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A head kick misses from Castilho.
Figgs feints a jab promting Castilho to slip. Figgs then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Castilho slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Castilho lands a nice looking kick to the body. Figgs takes a step back to recover.
Figgs pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Castilho back to the cage. Figgs follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Castilho is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Castilho struggles to land a body shot inside as Figgs controls his hands.
Castilho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Figgs throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Castilho stumbling backwards into the cage! Castilho bounces back off the cage towards Figgs, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Figgs lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Figgs celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Frankie Figgs!
Frankie Figgs really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Catch Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
