Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Manres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manres's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Aqualung - Jethro Tull. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Manres checks a leg kick.

Manres drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Manres got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boyle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manres has managed to get both his arms back between Boyle's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyle wants to sweep here but Manres controlling him for the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Fred Boyle hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Boyle shoots in but Manres avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Boyle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Manres pinned against the cage. Manres gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Manres decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boyle's guard.

Manres is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Boyle to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Boyle shrugs it off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ludwig Manres will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Boyle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Manres.
Boyle lands with an uppercut that bounces Manres off the cage and back into range.
Manres shoots in looking for a takedown but Boyle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Manres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boyle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Boyle throws an elbow that misses. Manres uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boyle's guard. Nice move by Manres!
