Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richardt Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Carnitine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carnitine has chosen Doro Pesch and Udo Dirkschneider covering Breaking the Law as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Larry Carnitine told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richardt Bam Bam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Larry Carnitine!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Carnitine.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Carnitine decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bam Bam to his feet.
Carnitine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bam Bam swivels and escapes.
Carnitine has managed to clinch.
Bam Bam swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Carnitine decides to pull guard.
Carnitine is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bam Bam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carnitine has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bam Bam has managed to get both his arms back between Carnitine's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carnitine is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bam Bam frees his head nicely. Oh but Carnitine has switched to an armbar! Bam Bam is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
