Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Todd.
Couture tries to close the distance and clinch but Todd swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Todd throws a left and a right that both miss

and Couture counters by moving into the clinch.
Couture keeps control of Todd as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Todd is trying to force a seperation but Couture has the dominant position.
Todd tries to pull guard but Couture holds him up against the cage and eventually Todd drops back down to his feet.

Couture throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Todd's waist but Todd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Couture off to one side.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Couture crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Todd - the referee stops the clock and Couture gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Todd. Couture manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Todd Todd will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
