Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bors De Camlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom McGettigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGettigan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Knifeman - The Bronx. Bors De Camlan had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Camlan looks to land a combination but McGettigan avoids it well.
De Camlan lands with a nice combination. McGettigan backs away looking to recover.
McGettigan swings away with a leg kick that misses.
De Camlan looks for a takedown but McGettigan sprawls well.
De Camlan takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A left and a right from McGettigan both land. Nice combination.
McGettigan lands a glancing blow to the side of De Camlan's head.
De Camlan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McGettigan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
De Camlan tries to score a power double leg takedown but McGettigan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten De Camlan somewhat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
De Camlan tries to close the distance and clinch but McGettigan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McGettigan slaps away a takedown attempt from De Camlan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bors De Camlan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
De Camlan throws a hook to the side of McGettigan's head but McGettigan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

De Camlan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McGettigan throws out the jab.
McGettigan moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
De Camlan is looking to clinch.
De Camlan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McGettigan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

McGettigan's corner calls for a 1-2. McGettigan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - De Camlan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGettigan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Tom McGettigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Camlan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
De Camlan blocks a head kick by McGettigan.

De Camlan has a takedown stuffed.
De Camlan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGettigan.
McGettigan tries to land a front kick but De Camlan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

McGettigan leaves De Camlan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McGettigan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

De Camlan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McGettigan tries to bum rush De Camlan with a series of wild strikes but De Camlan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
De Camlan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McGettigan looks to throw the jab but De Camlan is out of range.
De Camlan moves in looking to clinch but McGettigan pushes him off.
De Camlan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McGettigan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De Camlan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McGettigan is looking to score with low kicks.
A head kick misses from McGettigan.
McGettigan misses with a lunging right hand
and De Camlan counters with a left and a right that stings McGettigan.
De Camlan throws a right and a left that both miss.
De Camlan defending well as McGettigan loads up on a big left hand.

McGettigan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Camlan manages to avoid it.
McGettigan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Camlan moves away.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for De Camlan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
De Camlan slips under a jab from McGettigan.
McGettigan avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters circling - McGettigan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McGettigan swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by De Camlan.
McGettigan looks to land a body kick but De Camlan moved away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McGettigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGettigan throws out a loose jab but De Camlan uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGettigan lands a nice leg kick that just misses De Camlan's sensitive parts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

De Camlan slips a straight right by McGettigan.
McGettigan thuds his right hand into De Camlan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McGettigan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
McGettigan misses with a hook. De Camlan ducked under it nicely.
De Camlan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
De Camlan throws a series of punches but McGettigan moves out of range.
No joy there for De Camlan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGettigan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McGettigan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
De Camlan walks into a jab.
McGettigan throws a hook but De Camlan avoids it easily.
McGettigan lands a glancing blow to the side of De Camlan's head.

De Camlan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
De Camlan is looking to advance position but McGettigan won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGettigan wants to get back to his feet.

De Camlan seems to be working for a kimura but McGettigan defends the submission attempt.

De Camlan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McGettigan sees it coming and defends easily.

De Camlan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
McGettigan pushes De Camlan off looking to stand but De Camlan dives back in and keeps control.

De Camlan throws a strike but McGettigan avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
De Camlan is pushing down on McGettigan's leg trying to pass to half guard. McGettigan is fighting to maintain full guard but De Camlan has managed to sneak the leg through.
McGettigan is doing well to control the position and prevent De Camlan from advancing to side control.
McGettigan won't allow De Camlan to pass to mount.

De Camlan maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! McGettigan could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but De Camlan has cracked it and McGettigan is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by De Camlan!
