Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Mifsud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ogg Nogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nogg's choice of entrance music: Pantera : 5 Minutes Alone. Michael Mifsud could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ogg Nogg's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogg lands with a good body shot.
Mifsud is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Nogg tries to land a front kick but Mifsud steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nogg.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nogg misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Nogg wants to control but Mifsud is keeping him busy.

Nogg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mifsud sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Nogg seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mifsud does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nogg thows a huge punch but Mifsud dodges it nicely.
Still in half guard, Nogg seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mifsud moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Nogg tries to close the distance and clinch but Mifsud swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mifsud shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nogg as he avoids it easily.

Ogg Nogg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mifsud shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Nogg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mifsud moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mifsud uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nogg.
Nogg throws the kick towards the body but Mifsud avoids it.

Well Nogg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
