Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quentin Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nana - One Second . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Quentin Costa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hank Henry!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Costa misses.
Costa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Costa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Henry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Henry keeping moving, preventing Costa from controlling successfully.
Costa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Henry has his foot on Costa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Costa works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Quentin Costa.

Henry manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Costa on his heels. He'll look to pass Costa's guard now, I'm sure.

Costa pulls Henry in close to prevent any damage.
Henry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Henry throws a big right hand that misses.
Costa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henry's guard.
Costa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Henry has momentary wrist control but Costa slips an elbow through the middle.

Henry takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Henry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Costa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Henry is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Costa's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Henry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Costa looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Henry with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Henry is looking to improve his position.
Costa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Costa lands strikes from half guard.
Costa prevents Henry from improving his position.
Still in half guard, Costa seems content to control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Henry has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Costa is working away from the top position though.
Costa is trying to control the action in half guard but Henry is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Costa slips a nice elbow through Henry's hands, connecting with Henry's forehead.
Henry tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Costa has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

BOOM! Costa connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Henry is looking to get to half guard.
Costa lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Henry! Costa sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Henry and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Quentin Costa!
After winning the bout, Quentin Costa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
