The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bums throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bums looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bums as he avoids it easily.
Bums looks to throw the jab but Hammer is out of range.
Hammer shoots in but no luck this time.
Hammer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bums avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tor Hammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hammer shoots in for a double leg but Bums sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nice takedown defense from Bums. No joy for Hammer on that attempt.
Bums cracks Hammer with an open hand slap.
Bums throws a head kick but Hammer moves out of range.
Robin Bums seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bums defends it nicely.

Bums displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hammer.
Bums fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hammer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hammer shoots in but no luck this time.
Hammer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bums, as that shot connected.

Bums tries to bum rush Hammer with a series of wild strikes but Hammer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bums stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bums wants it to stay on the feet.

Bums tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hammer was well out of range. Poor timing from Bums.
Bums scores with a decent looking hook.
Bums misses the jab.

Hammer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bums.
Bums throws a leg kick which misses Hammer's front leg but catches the back leg as Hammer tries to avoid it.

Hammer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hammer is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bums is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
