Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Lannister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Johnson's choice of entrance music: Bone Crusher- Never Scared. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Floyd Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister moves out of range as Johnson strikes.
Johnson swinging wildly here.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Lannister slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.

Johnson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lannister's half guard.
Lannister is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Johnson gets to his feet - Lannister follows without any prompting.

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lannister won't be happy with that.

Lannister is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Johnson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lannister to get to his feet.
Johnson looks to land a combination but Lannister avoids it well.

and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lannister wants to control the pace but Johnson is squirming around nicely.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lannister. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lannister is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Lannister has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Johnson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lannister.

Lannister is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.

Lannister scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Johnson manages to mount him!

Johnson is pressing down on Lannister's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lannister is holding on for now.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close second round but Floyd Johnson will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Johnson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Johnson does no damage.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Lannister gets caught flat footed, as Johnson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Johnson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lannister tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lannister might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Lannister looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lannister is trying to keep Johnson in close.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lannister is on top in guard.
Johnson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Lannister stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lannister wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Floyd Johnson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Lannister won't allow Johnson to sweep him here.

Lannister moves into full mount! Johnson won't be happy about that!

Johnson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Lannister moves into full mount! Johnson won't be happy about that!
Johnson is in all sorts of trouble here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Floyd Johnson.
Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
