Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato Barral!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barral tries to sprawl but Williams drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Barral keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barral sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Barral manages to work his way to half guard, despite Williams's best efforts.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barral moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Barral escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Renato Barral dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Williams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Barral is trying to improve his position.

Williams is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Barral knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Barral regains half guard.

Barral is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Williams pulls his head out easily.
Williams tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Barral.

Williams wants to control the pace but Barral is squirming around nicely.

Barral can't escape the position.

Williams is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Barral has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Williams has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Barral taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Williams doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kazuki Williams!
