Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barton.
Nice body punch from Barton.
An inside leg kick lands from Barton.
Barton thumps Ferguson with a low kick.
Ferguson closes the distance but Barton moves to the side
and Barton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ferguson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ferguson takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like Josh Ferguson has been cut.
Barton fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ferguson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ferguson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barton.
Ferguson misses with a double jab.
Ferguson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ferguson showed some decent athleticism there.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Barton wants to improve his position but Ferguson is controlling well.

Ferguson wants to take a breather but Barton is having none of it.
Barton is trying to stand back up but Ferguson is controlling him

Barton makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Barton connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ferguson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ferguson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barton somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Barton feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ferguson's calf.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ferguson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A head kick by Ferguson misses
and Barton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh Ferguson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barton feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Ferguson crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
