Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is hollow. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Aldo Jr!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo Jr throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range.
Aldo Jr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Aldo Jr pushes him off.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Aldo Jr has eaten all the pies!
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Aldo Jr, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Aldo Jr against the cage but Aldo Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jackson has his takedown stuffed

and Aldo Jr counters with a takedown into side control.
Jackson is looking for a sweep.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom here.
Jackson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jackson is trying to control but can't.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Aldo Jr wants to stand up but Jackson has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Jackson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aldo Jr is working away from the top position though.

Aldo Jr decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Aldo Jr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jackson prevents Aldo Jr from improving position.

Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jackson tries to get to full guard but Aldo Jr has control of the leg.
Aldo Jr perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Jackson trying to hold on to Aldo Jr's head to control him but Aldo Jr postures up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Aldo Jr in particular looking to stall.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aldo Jr's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jose Aldo Jr was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Aldo Jr.

Aldo Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jackson on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Jackson is trying to control Aldo Jr's posture but Aldo Jr avoids it.
Aldo Jr lands a nice forearm strike.

Aldo Jr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jackson has escaped the position, nice work there.
Jackson is looking for a sweep.
Aldo Jr looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Aldo Jr smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
A lull in the action here as Aldo Jr stalls from top position.
Aldo Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Aldo Jr moves into full mount!
Aldo Jr tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Aldo Jr stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Aldo Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson avoids the head kick by Aldo Jr.
Aldo Jr scores with a jab to the head.

Aldo Jr closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Aldo Jr getting side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aldo Jr is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Aldo Jr lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jose Aldo Jr dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Aldo Jr looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jackson tries to lock up and control but Aldo Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jackson srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.

Aldo Jr gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Aldo Jr is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Aldo Jr working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Aldo Jr lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Jackson hold on?!
Aldo Jr connects with a couple of big shots that have Jackson covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Jackson! Aldo Jr fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Aldo Jr!
