Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Yamazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fort Minor-Kenji. Shinji Takeda will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Takeda!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamazaki throws a head kick that misses.
Yamazaki throws a head kick but Takeda moves out of range.
Yamazaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yamazaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yamazaki cracks the inside of Takeda's front leg.
Yamazaki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yamazaki.
Yamazaki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yamazaki lands a head kick. Takeda smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Shinji Takeda has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yamazaki tries a head kick but it misses.
Yamazaki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Yamazaki lands a leg kick that knocks Takeda off balance momentarily.

Takeda takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Yamazaki throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Takeda is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yuri Yamazaki!
Yuri Yamazaki decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
