Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Waldemar Moura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ching Ling!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moura misses with a two punch combination.
Ling tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Moura swivels and escapes.
Ling closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ling landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Moura is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ling connects with a decent elbow.
Moura tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ling wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ling is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Moura is trying to escape and Ling transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Moura is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ling! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ching Ling!
Ching Ling was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
