Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The American Dream Song. Mora has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mora tries to clinch
and Cross makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mora lands the left hand.
Alejandro Mora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cross wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mora displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Cross scores with a leg kick.
Mora tries to clinch but Cross moves out of range.
Cross scores with a decent looking hook.
Mora shoots in for a double leg but Cross sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mora gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mora creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Cross managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Mora.
Cross tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Mora presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Mora lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Cross is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Mora! Cross is hurt baaadly! Mora is firing away with more strikes - Cross is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
