The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plouman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Danga de danga de dang - Plouman scores with a four punch combination!
Ellenberger pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Plouman tries to clinch up but Ellenberger circles away and keeps his distance.
Ellenberger attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Ellenberger checks a leg kick.
Ellenberger stalks Plouman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Plouman's face. Plouman staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Ellenberger counters with a nice low kick that buckles Plouman's knee momentarily.

Ellenberger throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Plouman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Plouman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ellenberger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Plouman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Ellenberger tries to work over Plouman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Ellenberger tries a body shot but Plouman blocks it.
