The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skinn fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stevens.
Stevens misses with an uppercut. Skinn saw that one coming.
Stevens has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Skinn.
Skinn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stevens throws out the jab.
Skinn's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Skinn duly obliges.

It looks like Buddy Stevens has been cut.
Stevens misses with a series of wild punches.

and Skinn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Stevens working hard to break the clinch.

Skinn has hold of one of Stevens's legs. Stevens is fighting the takedown attempt but Skinn gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Skinn is looking to work some ground and pound but Stevens has wrist control.

Stevens looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Skinn has picked Stevens up and slammed him! Stevens can't keep hold of the triangle and Skinn manages to pass to side control!
Stevens is looking for a sweep.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Stevens has eaten all the pies!

Stevens wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Skinn seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Stevens is tapping! Wow, great finish!
