Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Steinbrenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Pelano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pelano's choice of entrance music: I Wanna Be Somebody by WASP. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eric Steinbrenner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hector Pelano!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Steinbrenner is defended easily by Pelano.
Steinbrenner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pelano throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pelano fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pelano moves to clinch but Steinbrenner breaks away
and Steinbrenner counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Pelano clinches up with Steinbrenner and pushes him back against the cage.
Steinbrenner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Steinbrenner wants a takedown but no success here.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Pelano.
Steinbrenner avoiding damage as Pelano throws knees to the body.
With the fighters up against the cage, Pelano throws an elbow but misses.
Steinbrenner fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Pelano struggles to land a body shot inside as Steinbrenner controls his hands.

Steinbrenner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pelano doesn't manage to clinch there - Steinbrenner circles away.
Steinbrenner tries to keep at a distance but Pelano has taken the fight into the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Steinbrenner's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Steinbrenner tries for a takedown. No joy.
Pelano lands an elbow that stopped Steinbrenner in his tracks for a moment.
Steinbrenner's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Steinbrenner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A nice left hand lands by Pelano.
Steinbrenner is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pelano pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Pelano lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Steinbrenner is rocked!
Pelano lands a hook that snaps the head of Steinbrenner backwards.
Oh Steinbrenner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pelano unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Steinbrenner! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Pelano is unloading with more strikes now! Steinbrenner drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Pelano!
Our winner, Hector Pelano, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
