Lesnar comes to the ring accompanied by Let's roll - Yelawolf ft. Kid rock. McFly has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. McFly's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lesnar under the eye.
Brock Lesnar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McFly lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McFly walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lesnar tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McFly counters with a good low kick that Lesnar was not able to check.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but McFly paws at him with a jab and circles away.

McFly tries to land a front kick but Lesnar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lesnar is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

McFly is trying to work for a kimura but Lesnar is defending well.
McFly seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lesnar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
McFly is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
McFly tries to pass to full mount but Lesnar defends it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McFly closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lesnar is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but McFly is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
