Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucifer Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furlong comes to the cage accompanied by Say it Ain't So. Jones has chosen Weapon of Choice as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furlong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jones tries to get to full guard but Furlong has control of the leg.
Furlong wants to work for an arm triangle but Jones is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Furlong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Furlong off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lucifer Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Furlong misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lucifer Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Furlong takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jones thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Furlong if he has to take too many more of those.
Jones is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jones lands a head kick. Furlong smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Edward Furlong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Furlong doesn't seem phased though.
Furlong walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Furlong is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
