Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sheikh Hasina Wazed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pac Quiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wazed comes to the cage accompanied by Mercedes Sosa - Como la Cigarra. Quiao has chosen The Motto - Drake Ft. Lil Wayne and Tyga as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Sheikh Hasina Wazed has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sheikh Hasina Wazed seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sheikh Hasina Wazed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Pac Quiao!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quiao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wazed sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wazed takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wazed avoids the body shot from Quiao.
Wazed just misses with a punch to the body.
Wazed ducks under a wild hook from Quiao.
Quiao leaves Wazed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wazed connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Left hook, right uppercut from Wazed.
Quiao keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wazed.

We're going to have a standup here because Sheikh Hasina Wazed wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Quiao slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Quiao throws a nice looking combination but Wazed bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Quiao tries to bum rush Wazed with a series of wild strikes but Wazed uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Quiao throws a right and a left that Wazed avoids nicely.
Wazed throws a looping overhand right but Quiao ducks down to avoid it.
Wazed has a takedown stuffed.
Quiao turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Wazed can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Quiao is looking to escape.
Quiao tries to hold on but Wazed postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Sheikh Hasina Wazed will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Quiao throws a hook but Wazed blocks it.

Quiao lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pac Quiao.
Quiao does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wazed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quiao moves away.
Quiao closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Pac Quiao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wazed drives through with a takedown into Quiao's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Quiao is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pac Quiao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Wazed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quiao's waist but Quiao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wazed off to one side.

Sloppy strikes from Quiao. Those never looked like landing.
Wazed shoots in looking for a takedown but Quiao manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wazed's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Quiao misses with an uppercut. Wazed saw that one coming.

Wazed looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Quiao is fending him off so far but Wazed persists. Nope, Quiao circles away and we're back to standing.
Wazed comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Quiao throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wazed stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wazed throws a lazy right hand but Quiao sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quiao. Wazed does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quiao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wazed.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Quiao enables Wazed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Quiao manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Quiao not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Quiao is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Quiao seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Quiao is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wazed off and has taken his back!

Wazed is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Wazed looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Quiao is trying to stick to Wazed's back but Wazed is turning into Quiao. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Quiao's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wazed.
