Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lewis McLay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralle Pihl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pihl has chosen Run to the hills as his entrance music. Lewis McLay looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis McLay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ralle Pihl!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pihl closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pihl lands in his opponent's guard.
McLay really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McLay looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Pihl postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

and Pihl counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

McLay bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Ralle Pihl is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McLay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Pihl has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
