Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Dettman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dettman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Led Zeppelin - When the Levee Breaks . Sly Randolph will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Randolph lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Randolph throws a hook to the side of Dettman's head but Dettman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Randolph has control of Dettman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dettman regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dettman lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Randolph has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Randolph and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Dettman.
I think Randolph has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
