PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mak Mokowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Drexler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mokowski kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die. Mak Mokowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drexler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

You get the feeling that Mokowski really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Drexler has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mokowski regains guard immediately.
