Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Akhmad ShugaR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Efrain Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ShugaR comes to the ring accompanied by Dagestan. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts ShugaR as he jumps to the side.

ShugaR shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. ShugaR showed some decent athleticism there.

ShugaR thows a huge punch but Vera dodges it nicely.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with ShugaR in particular looking to stall.

That was a close round but I would say that Akhmad ShugaR will probably get the nod.

ShugaR rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Efrain Vera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fighters circle momentarily. ShugaR darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Vera is trying desperately to land a takedown but ShugaR is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Vera.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Vera with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling ShugaR to score with a decent uppercut.

ShugaR rushes Vera with punches - Vera moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Vera goes down! ShugaR follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
