The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture throws a right and a left that Duthie avoids nicely.
Couture throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Duthie.
Couture avoids a punch combination nicely.
Duthie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Couture is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
