The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan lands a jab to Sagat's midsection.
Sagat is looking to clinch.
Morgan throws a body punch but Sagat moves out of range.
Morgan misses with an uppercut
and Sagat cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sagat moves out of range of the strikes.
An inside leg kick lands from Sagat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sagat scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sagat lands a nice looking body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sagat. That's going to slow Morgan down.
Morgan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sagat. Sagat circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like Victor Sagat has been cut.
Morgan looks to land a combination but Sagat avoids it well.
Sagat connects with a solid leg kick.
Morgan misses with a series of wild punches.
Morgan scores with a big combo that sends Sagat crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Sagat flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Morgan jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
