Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willabee Raggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wong comes into the arena with Legend of the USS Titanic blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Edward Wong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Willabee Raggs !
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong slips a jab and a cross from Raggs .
Raggs looks to land a right hand but Wong moved out of range.

Wong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Raggs to the mat! Raggs manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wong advances position into side control!
Raggs is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wong has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wong tries for a kimura but Raggs is defending well.
Wong cracks Raggs with a big right hand but Raggs just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Raggs is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Raggs is not content to let Wong control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wong is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Raggs has escaped the position, nice work there.
Raggs stops Wong from passing to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Raggs bucks up and tries to throw Wong off but instead Wong has got his back!
Raggs is trying to stand back up.

Wong working for the choke.
Raggs is trying to get back to his feet but Wong has full control of the position and if anything, Raggs has just worked his way into a worse spot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Raggs is trying to get back to his feet but Wong has full control of the position and if anything, Raggs has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Raggs is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Wong off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Wong lands with a hammerfist to the side of Raggs 's head.

Raggs is trying to get back to his feet but Wong has full control of the position and if anything, Raggs has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Wong is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Raggs knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Raggs for a finish.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Raggs prevents Wong from getting a body triangle.
Wong is landing with strikes from the back.
Raggs has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Wong is looking for the choke from the back position but Raggs is controlling his hands well.
Raggs holding both Wong 's hands and preventing any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Raggs won't enjoy being in this position. Wong looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Raggs is tapping - it's over boys! Wong picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Edward Wong!
Edward Wong very nearly forgot to thank TFP Graphics - Pit Inc amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
