Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magic Wasp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hamood Hallak!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallak dives in and scores a takedown into Wasp's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Wasp is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wasp is working hard here to advance position.
Hallak throws an elbow that misses. Wasp uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hallak's guard. Nice move by Wasp!

Hallak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wasp defends it easily.
Wasp wants to control from the top but Hallak keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Magic Wasp just wasn't active enough.
Wasp lands a really nice looking cross but Hallak seems unphased.
Hallak waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Wasp. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Wasp to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Magic Wasp has been cut.

Wasp wants to sweep here but Hallak controlling him for the moment.
Hallak content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wasp can't keep his opponent in guard - Hallak advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hamood Hallak dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Magic Wasp's cut.
That's time! Wasp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hallak throws a right hand that Wasp ducks under and follows up with a left that Wasp also avoids with ease.
Hallak misses with a few strikes there.
Wasp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hallak throws a nice looking combination but Wasp bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wasp throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab lands there for Hallak.
Sloppy strikes from Wasp. Those never looked like landing.
No luck for Wasp with that takedown attempt.
Wasp tries to bum rush Hallak with a series of wild strikes but Hallak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hallak digs a good body shot into Wasp's ribs.
Hallak forces Wasp back against the cage and clinches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hallak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wasp throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wasp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hallak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wasp sprawls well initially but Hallak persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hallak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wasp does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Wasp misses with a jab, cross combination.
A jab-cross combination lands for Hallak and sends Wasp crashing to the mat! Hallak follows him down to the mat - Wasp regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hallak is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wasp is just riding it out for now. Hallak eventually gives up the hold.

Hallak lands a strong strike to the head of Wasp. That's dazed him! Hallak looking to finish here. Wasp is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Hallak lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
